A More Aligned, Intentional Life

An intentional life doesn’t require waking up at 5 a.m., owning matching storage containers, or romanticizing every cup of coffee. It requires something less photogenic and far more useful: paying attention.

Look at your last seven days. Where did your attention actually go? Which commitments felt meaningful, and which were maintained mostly because you’ve always done them? Sometimes the biggest gap between the life you want and the life you’re living isn’t motivation—it’s an unexamined schedule.

Alignment comes from making your priorities visible. If connection matters, put an uninterrupted conversation on the calendar. If wellness matters, build a routine you can sustain. If you want creative freedom, protect a little time before every other request takes its place.

None of this means every day will feel balanced. Some seasons ask more of you than others. Intention is simply the practice of choosing deliberately where you can, and adjusting when you notice your actions drifting away from your values.

Your days don’t have to be perfect to feel like they belong to you.

One small shift to try

Circle one recurring commitment that no longer fits and one priority that rarely makes it onto your calendar. What could you trade, shorten, or protect this week?
